Time difference
Real time comparison of time zones
Find out the time difference between cities
🌍 How does the time difference calculator work?
Our service instantly compares time in any two places in the world. You don't have to count the hours in your head or Google time zones.
It will be useful for you if you:
- Work remotely:Schedule calls with colleagues in New York or Tokyo without worrying about waking them up in the middle of the night.
- Travel: Find out what the difference in time awaits you on vacation in order to adapt to jet lag in advance.
- Follow the events:Don't miss the start of a football match or webinar that takes place in a different time zone.
💡 Please note: The calculator works in real time. It shows not only the clock, but also the exact date, which is important when the difference between cities exceeds 12-20 hours (for example, Moscow and Sydney).
Features of time zones
The earth is divided into 24 time zones. Our time generator automatically takes into account daylight saving time (DST), so you don't need to check if the clocks in Germany or the US have changed. The data is always up to date.
If you just need to find out the exact time in different cities, use our main calculator to search for other tools.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
🔹 How accurate is this calculator?
Absolutely accurate. We use the IANA international time zone database, which is updated automatically. This eliminates manual counting errors.
🔹 Is daylight saving time taken into account?
Yes. The script knows the rules for changing summer/winter time for each country. If the clocks have been changed in Paris, but not in Moscow, the difference will be recalculated correctly.
🔹 What does GMT+3 or GMT-5 mean?
This is the offset relative to Greenwich (London). For example, Moscow (GMT+3) is 3 hours ahead of London, and New York (GMT-5) is 5 hours behind it.
🔹 My city is not in the list, what should I do?
Select the nearest major city or capital of your country - the time within the same time zone is always the same.
