Roll D20 dice online (d20)

Forgot your dice at home or need a quick stealth check?

This is a specialized online D20 dice for masters and players of tabletop role-playing games (Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Starfinder). Our algorithm guarantees a fair distribution of probabilities (True Random) - no “twisted” throws, as happens with cheap plastic dice.

What is this cube used for?

  • ⚔️ Attack Rolls: Whether you penetrated the enemy's armor (AC).
  • 🛡️ Saving Throws: Whether you dodged a fireball or poison.
  • Ability Checks: Persuasion, Athletics, Perception and other skills.

🎲 How to calculate the final result?

In D&D, rolling the dice is only half the battle. The final value is calculated using the formula:

[D20 Result] + [Characteristics Modifier] + [Bonus Skills]

Difficulty Class

The Dungeon Master (DM) determines the challenge's difficulty (DC). To succeed, your final score must be equal to or higher than this number:

Difficulty (DC) Task example
5 (Very easy) Jump over the puddle
10 (Easy) Knock down the flimsy door
15 (Medium) Hear the guard's footsteps
20 (Difficult) Sail through the storm
25 (Very difficult) Get past the dragon unnoticed
30 (Almost impossible) Convince the king to give up the crown

Critical successes and failures

In battle, “pure” values on the sides of the cube (without modifiers) are of particular importance:

Nat 20

Critical success! Your attack hits automatically, regardless of the target's armor. Damage from all damage dice is doubled.

Nat 1

Critical failure. A failure is guaranteed. Often the master can add a comical or dire consequence (dropped the sword, hit an ally).

Advantage and Disadvantage

This is one of the main mechanics of 5th edition D&D:

  • Advantage: Roll 2 d20 dice and choose the best result.
  • Disadvantage: Roll 2 d20 dice and choose the worst result.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

🎲 How fair is this random?

Absolutely. We use the cryptographically strong Web Crypto API algorithm. The chance of landing any edge from 1 to 20 is exactly 5%. This is more reliable than physical cubes, which may have a displaced center of gravity due to air bubbles.

📱 Can I use it from my phone?

Yes, the page is fully adapted for smartphones. This is an ideal solution when you don't have room for a dice tower on your gaming table or when you're playing on the go.
