Calculate taxes
💸 Personal income tax and net income calculator
This tool helps you instantly understand how much money will remain “on hand” after paying taxes, or, conversely, how much money needs to be included in the contract in order to receive the desired income.
- Enter Revenue (total amount).
- Indicate Expenses (if you want to calculate tax on the difference, for example, when selling a car or apartment).
- Select a rate (standard rate NDFL in the Russian Federation - 13%).
In what situations is this needed?
🏠 Sale of property: If you sell an apartment or car before the minimum period of ownership, tax is paid not on the entire amount, but on the difference “Sale minus Purchase”. Enter the purchase price in the Expenses field.
💼 Work and freelancing: To check whether the accounting department correctly calculated your salary “in hand” (Net) from your salary (Gross). For a more detailed salary calculation, taking into account deductions, use our salary calculator.
📉 Business calculations: For individual entrepreneurs on the general taxation system or for a rough estimate of profit. If you need to separate the tax from the amount, use the VAT calculator.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
🔹 Which tax rate should you choose: 13% or 15%?
The standard rate for residents of the Russian Federation is 13%. An increased rate of 15% applies if your annual income exceeds 5 million rubles (tax is paid only on the excess amount).
🔹 Why do you need the “Expenses” field?
This field is required to calculate the taxable base according to the “Income minus Expenses” system. This is relevant for individual entrepreneurs, as well as individuals when selling property, when tax is levied only on the profit received.
🔹 What does the pie chart show?
The diagram visually displays the ratio: what part of your money goes to the state (tax), and what part remains for you (net profit).
