Ovulation and fertile days calculator
📅 Pregnancy planning and cycle calculation
This tool helps determine the “fertile window” - the days when the likelihood of getting pregnant is maximum. The calculation is based on the calendar method and is suitable for women with a stable cycle.
How to read calculation results?
After entering the date of your last menstruation, the calculator will display a graph. Here's what this data means:
- 🌷 Ovulation day:The egg is released from the ovary. This is peak fertility (usually 14 days before the end of the cycle).
- 💜 Fertile window:5 days before ovulation and 1 day after. Sperm can live in the body for up to 5 days, “waiting” for the egg. Sex these days is highly likely to lead to conception.
- 🩸 Next menstruation:Forecast of the start of a new cycle.
💡 If your attempts are successful, be sure to save the start date of your last menstruation - you will need it to use our pregnancy calculator and find out the exact date of birth.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
🔹 Is it possible to calculate the gender of a child (boy/girl)?
There is a theory that sperm carrying the Y chromosome (boy) are faster, but live shorter, and X (girl) are slow, but tenacious. Accordingly, to conceive a boy, PA must be exactly on the day of ovulation, and for a girl - 2-3 days before it. However, this method does not scientifically guarantee results.
🔹 What to do if the cycle is irregular?
If the cycle varies (for example, from 25 to 35 days), the calculator will only show an approximate range. In this case, it is more reliable to use pharmacy ovulation tests or measure basal temperature.
🔹 Is it possible to get pregnant immediately after your period?
Yes, this is possible, especially if you have a short cycle (less than 24 days). Ovulation may occur early, and sperm will have time to “survive” until the egg is released.
