Salad with chicken and mushrooms
🥗 How to calculate the ingredients for a salad for a large company
Are you planning a New Year, birthday or corporate event? The main mistake when purchasing products is to buy them by eye. As a result, either there won’t be enough salad for the guests, or there will be a whole bowl left that will spoil.
Our calculator solves this problem. It works according to a proven technological map of a classic salad (Chicken + Mushrooms + Cheese + Egg) and helps you find out the exact weight of each ingredient.
How to use the calculation:
- Enter the number of guests: Enter the number of people who will eat the salad.
- Select serving size:
- 150 g - if there are a lot of other snacks (buffet) on the table.
- 250 g is a standard hearty portion for a home feast.
- 350 g - if salad is the main dish.
- Get the list: Copy the final list of products and go to the store with it.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
❓ Which recipe is used in the calculation?
We use the classic proportions of puff salad: Chicken fillet (30%), Fried champignons (25%), Boiled eggs (20%), Hard cheese (10%), Onion and Mayonnaise (15%). This is a universal base that can be supplemented to taste (for example, pineapples or nuts).
❓ How many eggs are in 100 grams?
One medium egg (category C1) weighs about 50-55 grams without shell. Our calculator automatically converts weight into pieces, rounding to the nearest half egg.
❓ Is it possible to change the proportions?
Of course! This tool gives you a basic calculation so you have enough food for everyone. If you like more cheese or less onion, feel free to adjust the list to your taste.
